Optimum Physio provides Physiotherapy, including clinic based work and home visits and Pilates classes. The protection and security of personal data gathered during this work is taken seriously by Optimum Physio.

In order to communicate with clients during their course of physiotherapy or while attending classes contact details are taken including a telephone number and address. Occasionally e mail addresses are also recorded. In addition date of birth is also noted.

This information may be shared with GPs, consultants or other health professionals where they may be able to assist with resolving a clients condition but this will only be done after the Physiotherapist has discussed this with the client and gained their consent.

Personal data is never shared with any other organisation for marketing purposes.

All personal data is recorded on paper casenotes which are filed in a locked filing cabinet. Notes are held for seven years.
